Former TV Journalist Joins FBI
ST. LOUIS—John V. Gillies, Special Agent in Charge of the St. Louis Office of the FBI is pleased to announce Rebecca Wu as the new Public Affairs Specialist.
Ms. Wu has 14 years experience as a television news reporter which has taken her around the country and overseas. Her most recent position was reporter and weekend morning anchor at KSDK-TV in St. Louis for almost six years. Ms. Wu grew up in San Francisco and graduated from U.C. Berkeley.
“We look forward to enhancing the FBI’s relationship with the news media with the help of Ms. Wu’s expertise,” said John V. Gillies, Special Agent in Charge of the St. Louis Office of the FBI. “It is important for people in this community to have a better understanding of what the FBI does and how we serve and protect them.”
As the Public Affairs Specialist, Ms. Wu will be our liaison with the media. She will also foster relationships with the public through our community outreach programs.
The FBI’s St. Louis Division includes satellite offices in St. Charles, Kirksville, Rolla, and Cape Girardeau.
