St. Louis , MO : Brandon Hill was sentenced to 51 months and 10 years supervised release to be served consecutive to a 174-month sentence in the Western District of Oklahoma, for promoting interstate prostitution, United States Attorney Catherine L. Hanaway announced today.

Hill met the victim, S.S., at a gas station in Hazelwood , Missouri , in December 2004. A few months later, Hill bought her a plane ticket to fly to Dallas . During this visit with him, he told her he was a pimp and she left Dallas .  In March 2005, she returned to Dallas and began to work as a prostitute for Hill, and he served as her pimp.  She traveled to Philadelphia , San Antonio , Austin , Raleigh , Milwaukee , Kansas City, Missouri ; Kansas City , Kansas and St. Louis , to work as a prostitute, and turned all of the proceeds over to Hill.

Between  August 2 and 10, 2005, SS was arrested in St. Louis for possession of marijuana by Maryland Heights Police, and her cell phone was seized.  Police Officers searched the phone and found numbers, photos of Hill, as well as extensive text messages between S.S. and Hill. These messages discussed travel, prostitution and the proceeds of prostitution.

BRANDON HILL , Dallas Texas , pled guilty last October to one felony count of enticing a woman to travel interstate for prostitution. He appeared today for sentencing before United States District Judge Rodney Sippel.

Hanaway commended the work performed on the case by the Maryland Heights Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Assistant United States Attorney Howard J. Marcus, who handled the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
